Thin Crust Gluten Free Sourdough Pizza

This recipe makes the perfect crispy sourdough pizza base, actually it makes two!

Equipment

  • Baking trays
  • Rolling Pin
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 180 g Gluten free bread flour I like to use brown
  • 1/4 tsp Yeast Optional
  • 2 cups Sourdough starter
  • 1 tsp Sugar I use coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt I use Himalayan
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl
  • Cover and rest for 3 hours (in the fridge)
  • Preheat the oven to 180'C
  • Split the dough into two (either use both or freeze one for later)
  • Roll out onto a lightly floured baking sheet covered in baking paper
  • Spread on a tomato based pizza sauce (check out my sweet potato pizza sauce recipe, link below)
  • Add your favourite toppings
  • Bake for around 20 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble

Notes

If your toppings contain a lot of water such as mushrooms or tomatoes you may need to drain the liquid off half way through cooking.
